Perfect little neighborhood bar where the beer is cold, the drinks are excellent, Dawn holds court and Sheriff Bob plays great music!
Did our laundry, stayed a few hours and had fun. Came back the next day to try the chicken and burgers...and mojos. Yum....they just need a BLT. Reluctantly said "bye" to Coos Bay/North Bend and the sheriff! -

Piece of crap place! Never treated so rudely in my life. Go at your own risk! Rude staff, smelly, old and just plain nasty. If you want to deal with the dregs of Coos County/North Bend this is your spot.

Do you like good food and veer but need to do laundry whilst shooting pool? This is the place for you. The pork appetizer was great. The fish sandwich was crispy and fantastic. The fried oyster and fish combo was dynamite. The beer section was great as was the service.

We ate there for the first time today. We came in for lunch (it's Saturday), and the place was almost empty. It was clean and quiet. I had the fried chicken with potato salad, and the others in our party had oysters, gizzards, poppers, mojos , and fries. It was a LOT of food. All of it was excellent, and the barmaid/server/cook was delightful.
We are going back tomorrow to try the burgers that people in town rave about. -
